There are yet to be any sales figures released for FIFA 2010 in South Africa but if the European market is anything to go by it will be selling a whole mess of titles. EA has reported today that FIFA 2010 has sold over 1.7 million units in its first week of European release, making it the fastest selling sports title of all time. So far.
This also means that it is EA’s best European launch ever for any title in their stable. President of EA SPORTS Peter Moore had this to say: “We were confident that FIFA 10 would be a hit, and this week fans across Europe have shown just how much they love this game.”
This release of FIFA busted records with console and PC platforms combined and the console versions of the sports title have received excellent reviews thus far.
