Role-playing MMO Hellgate London will resurrecting itself following a closed beta which is taking place in America from 3 to 5 June this year. Currently all that is known about the release date is that it will take place in the States after the beta concludes. It will, however, be returning under a free-to-play model.
Hellgate has been taken over by South Korean distributor Hanbisoft and the re-release, according to gaming website Eurogamer, will make use of in-game micro-transactions to fund the game in lieu of a monthly subscription. Hanbitsoft secured the worldwide rights to the title in January last year.
Currently only an American release in on the cards, there has been no confirmation as to when European territories (including South Africa) will be getting access, if at all.
