Google comes up with a way to prevent a little embarrassment
Google, intent on their plan for eventual world domination, have pioneered a service aimed at preventing their users from sending possibly embarrassing emails via their Gmail accounts.
This plan, called “Mail Goggles” will test users with a set of basic mathematical questions that must be completed in a certain time frame before the mail can be sent. This is primarily to judge the user’s sobriety.
The application for Gmail will be enabled by default on Friday and Saturday nights but it can be configured to be active during a certain set of hours, determined by the user. Google hopes that this will prevent users from sending email messages that they later wish they hadn’t sent, or in extreme cases, cannot remember typing in the first place.
This comes along with their decision to make music track heard on YouTube purchasable from Amazon or iTunes without having to leave the Google-owned site.
