Buggiest BlackBerry ever
When the BlackBerry Storm was released a few weeks ago it was to be the businessman’s iPhone killer, the device that every suit would want in his Christmas stocking.
The truth is a lot more startling with claims that the new BlackBerry Storm is by far the most bugs ever for a RIM device. The BlackBerry Storm lacks a keyboard and therefore uses a virtual keyboard on the touch screen. Users are claiming that while the screen provides tactile feedback the keys are too close together, not great news for a phone designed to be primarily used for emails and other business orientated tasks. UK based Vodafone and US based Verizon say that the Storm is their fastest selling phone , with Vodafone claiming that a Storm is sold every 13 seconds. Users complain that switching between the vertical and horizontal modes (similar to that of the iPhone) is painfully slow, while others complain about the media player repeatedly crashing. So far Research In Motion has so far not released a statement.Michael Reed
