Developer Interplay have released some concept art belonging to the possibly-releasing-possibly not MMO title based on the Fallout universe. This project, code-named Project V13 (which we can only assume stands for Vault 13), is in danger of being canned if the current legal battles playing out between Interplay and Bethesda work out in favour of the Fallout 3 publisher.
Lead system designer Chris Taylor posted four concept images from the proposed MMO on Interplay’s forums, seemingly in a bid to prove that work is being carried out on the game. The first image shows a Wasteland Wanderer while the other three depict various scenes, from a downed airliner to a desert and a ruined industrial area.
Along with the images is a caution that the concept art is not final and changes may occur but with Bethesda suing Interplay for allegedly failing to make good on the conditions required to create the MMO and Interplay countersuing, Fallout Online may never venture out of the vault.
