Britain says it’s just not cricket
What would you do if an ex-friend of yours created a Facebook profile in your name and stated you were of a different sexual orientation? Or a different religion?
We wouldn’t like that and neither did Mathew Firsht who won a R330,000 in the UK against Grant Raphael.
Mr Firsht decided to check out Facebook and came across a Facebook group entitled “Has Mathew Firsht lied to you?”This did not sit well with Mr Firsht and he (as we previously stated) sued his ex-friend.
One has to question what drove his ex-friend to write such scandalous accusations; maybe Mr Firsht is the type of guy that does lie? Whatever the cause, may this serve as a warning to any people that may want to create fake profiles or liars who deserve a fake “hate” profile.
