iPhone is MMS-less

No MMS support for the iPhone

iPhone doesn’t have MMS support, and the iPhone 2.0 update will not have either but Apple have have filed a patent to bring an application simply dubbed “IM” to the iPhone.

This application will include SMS, MMS, and IM support but when it will appear on the iPhone is any ones guess. The lack of MMS support in version 2.0 is a shocker since MMS capabilities are a common feature on some of the cheapest phones nowadays.

There is however hope for those who have a “hacked” iPhone or want to get one, there is an application that allows users to send and receive multimedia messages.

This application is called SwirlyMMS and is only available to people who have got a “hacked” iPhone due to Apple’s desire to not have any third party applications on its latest and greatest creation.
