UK Hacker caught

Claims that he was looking for UFO evidence

When push comes to shove and you get caught hacking into the most sensitive systems in the entire US just claim that you were looking for proof of UFOs, and of course everyone will not believe you.

Unfortunately this is a fact that unemployed 42-year-old Gary McKinnon learnt the hard way and is now facing extradition to the US, following the loss of his appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.

Mr McKinnon will be extradited to the US from his home in the UK (Wood Green, north London) after the US government claimed that he had committed the largest military hack ever in US history.

To be honest, Mr McKinnon will have it pretty easy, once extradited to the US he faces a lengthy jail term in a US Federal Prison, but it seems he will be released early on good behaviour if all goes to plan.

On top of this, it seems likely that he will be offered a job by the US military or a private security firm, since hackers are the best security consultants.

So stop fretting Mr McKinnon, your unemployment troubles could soon be over.
