Obama hasn’t had it easy. He has come under attack on smear websites; all this in the wake of his highly successful website that helped raise campaign funds.
A website was started which seems to be completely aimed at creating a smear campaign to discredit Obama.
The smear rumours have been aimed at his wife and his religion. The one aimed at his wife has stated that she made racial slurs towards white people, the other rumour is that he is a Muslim and not a Christian. Obama has responded by starting up a website called www.fightthesmears.com in retaliation.
This all goes to show that the internet can be used for good, but it usually ends up biting you once someone who doesn’t like you realises that they can make their own website. Tough lesson to learn Mr. Obama.
