Amazon.com has released the second version of its Kindle (An e-book reader), the Kindle DX. The most noticeable change to the Kindle is the size of the screen, which is now 10.4 x 7.2 inches, making it 50% bigger than the previous Kindle (Kindle 2).
This consequently then also makes the new Kindle weigh considerably more, making it less portable than the previous version. Early reviews have stated that the Kindle DX is perfect for newspaper and magazine content, but that amazon.com still has a very limited supply of these content types for the product.
Other welcome features include the Kindle DX’s ability to rotate automatically according to how you hold it as well as extended battery life.
