CD Projekt, the developer behind The Witcher, has released a 1.5 patch for their RPG title, adding some significant features while subtracting others. The new patch removes the DRM from the game, allowing it to be played without the disc in drive.
All of the game’s copy securities are removed by the new patch and problems with EAX and graphics tweaks are also sorted out. Along with this, there are five user-created adventures included with the patch. These are: Deceits’, ‘Blight of the Bogs’, ‘Wraiths of Quiet Hamlet’, ‘The Wedding’ and ‘Merry Witchmas’.
In order to update The Witcher to 1.5, the 1.4 or Enhanced Edition patch must be installed prior to applying the new patch.
